Virtual reality headsets aim to ease chronic pain
NCT ID NCT07434804
Summary
This study is testing whether a virtual reality (VR) program can be a useful tool for teaching people with chronic pain about their condition. Fifty adults with chronic pain will use a VR headset for six weeks to learn about pain science and coping strategies. The main goal is to see if this VR approach is practical and acceptable, while also checking if it might help reduce pain and improve quality of life.
