VR headsets aim to ease painful cancer biopsy procedure

Summary
This study is testing whether using a virtual reality headset during a bone marrow biopsy can help reduce the pain and anxiety patients feel. It will involve 160 adults with or suspected of having blood cancers who are scheduled for this outpatient procedure. Researchers will compare the experience of patients receiving standard care to those who also use VR during their biopsy.
