Summary

This study tests whether a virtual reality experience can help people in early recovery from alcohol use disorder drink less and stay sober longer. Researchers will compare a VR group to a control group and measure abstinence, future thinking, and decision-making. The study involves 500 participants who have been sober for at least two weeks but less than a year.
