NCT ID NCT07323498
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests whether adding a guided imagery exercise after a virtual reality (VR) public speaking session helps people feel less anxious in new speaking situations. 48 adults with high public speaking fear will do one VR speech, then either mentally rehearse it or use imagery to imagine speaking in different settings. Their fear is measured 1-2 weeks later in real and virtual speeches.
