Summary
This study tested a combination of 3D virtual reality and hands-on aromatherapy to improve psychological health in 48 older adults living in care homes. Participants used VR headsets and scented oils to see if it could boost happiness, reduce stress, improve sleep, and increase life satisfaction. The approach is non-drug and aims to ease symptoms of mental distress.
