First seen Nov 24, 2025 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether Vojta therapy, a type of physical therapy that uses gentle pressure on specific body areas to trigger natural movement patterns, can help people who had a stroke improve their posture and trunk control. Researchers will compare standard physical therapy alone to standard therapy plus Vojta therapy in 62 adults aged 45-65 who are in the early recovery phase after a first stroke. The goal is to see if adding Vojta therapy leads to better balance, sitting and standing ability, and arm function.
