NCT ID NCT05561920

First seen Mar 17, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 6 times

Summary

This study looked at 55 people who had their voice box removed due to throat cancer. Researchers used a special high-speed camera to see how throat tissues vibrate to create a substitute voice. They also recorded and analyzed the sound of that voice. The goal was to better understand how these two things are connected, which could help improve voice rehabilitation after surgery.
