Summary
This study aims to discover the most effective ways for nurses and therapists to talk to people with dementia to help them stand and walk sooner after hip fracture surgery. Researchers will video record up to 50 real-life care sessions on hospital wards to analyze the specific words and instructions that work best. The goal is to create practical communication guidelines that hospital staff can use immediately to improve patient recovery.
