Could your phone diagnose your allergies? new study tests voice and face analysis

NCT ID NCT06474923

Summary

This study aimed to develop a faster, simpler way to screen for allergic rhinitis (hay fever). Researchers collected photos and voice recordings from 1,500 people with rhinitis symptoms, along with standard allergy test results. They used this data to build a computer model to see if facial features and voice patterns could help identify allergic rhinitis without needing more complex tests first.
