NCT ID NCT05956340

Summary

This study aimed to find out if a person's voice and speech change when they are experiencing a manic episode from bipolar disorder. Researchers recorded and analyzed the speech of 17 hospitalized patients during mania, looking at things like pitch, rhythm, sentence structure, and word choice. The goal was to see if these voice patterns could help identify or understand manic states better.
