First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 15, 2026 · Updated 27 times
Summary
This study looked at whether vocal exercises or breathing exercises work better to improve lung function and trunk (core) stability in healthy women aged 18 to 65. Fifty women did either vocal or breathing exercises twice a week for six weeks. Researchers measured their lung capacity, breath-holding time, and core stability before and after the program to compare the effects of the two types of exercises.
