New vaginal scope technique may beat standard keyhole surgery for large uterus removal

Summary
This study compares a newer surgical method called vNOTES (surgery through the vagina with a tiny camera) to standard laparoscopic hysterectomy (keyhole surgery) for women with large uteri needing removal due to non-cancerous conditions. About 200 women will be randomly assigned to one of the two procedures. The goal is to see which approach leads to fewer complications, less pain, and a shorter hospital stay.
