Virtual fitness classes tested to fight prediabetes in seniors

Summary

This study is testing whether a 12-week virtual group exercise program called Vivo can help improve leg strength and lower blood sugar levels in older adults with prediabetes. Participants are sedentary men and women aged 60 and older. They are randomly assigned to either join the twice-weekly online exercise classes or to a waitlist control group for comparison.
