Scientists search for genetic clues to ALS in vitamin d pathways
NCT ID NCT02893605
Summary
This study aimed to understand if differences in genes related to how the body processes vitamin D are linked to ALS. Researchers compared the genetic makeup of 400 people with ALS to 400 people without the disease. The goal was to gather knowledge, not to test a treatment.
