Summary
This study is testing whether taking vitamin D supplements can help people with depression feel better. It involves about 480 adults with depression who will take either a low or high dose of vitamin D daily for six months, while continuing their regular antidepressant treatment. Researchers will track their symptoms and recovery over several years to see if vitamin D makes a difference.
