Summary

This study looked at whether taking different amounts of vitamin D could lower the risk of getting COVID-19. About 1,475 adults from the Chicago area took either a low (400 IU), moderate (4,000 IU), or high (10,000 IU) daily dose of vitamin D for 9 months. Researchers tracked who got COVID-19 to see if higher doses offered more protection.
