Summary
This study aimed to see if taking high doses of vitamin D before surgery could change certain markers in breast cancer cells, like hormone receptors and growth signals. It was designed for women with high-grade DCIS or invasive breast cancer who were already scheduled for surgery. However, the study was withdrawn before any participants were enrolled, so no results are available.
