NCT ID NCT04615988

First seen Apr 22, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This study looks at whether the amount of vitamin D in your blood affects your chance of developing thyroid problems while receiving a common type of cancer immunotherapy (PD-1/PD-L1 inhibitors). Researchers will measure vitamin D and thyroid function before and during standard cancer treatment. About 17 adults with cancer whose doctors plan to use this immunotherapy are being recruited. This is an observational study, meaning no new treatment is given—just extra blood tests and questionnaires.
