Summary
This study measured vitamin C levels in 100 elderly people (over 65) living in long-term care units. Researchers wanted to find out how common vitamin C deficiency is and what factors might increase the risk. Participants gave a blood sample and had a skin exam to check for signs of deficiency. The goal is to help improve nutrition in care homes.
