Can a common vitamin tame dangerous exercise blood pressure spikes?

NCT ID NCT06369350

Summary

This early study aims to understand if vitamin B6 can help control a sharp rise in blood pressure that happens during exercise in people with poor leg circulation (Peripheral Artery Disease). Researchers will study 30 healthy volunteers to see if blocking a specific protein in nerves with vitamin B6 reduces this blood pressure response. The goal is to gather basic knowledge that could lead to future, simple treatments to improve health for people with this condition.
