First seen Mar 25, 2026 · Last updated May 07, 2026 · Updated 4 times

Summary

This early-phase trial tests whether taking vitamin A and nicotinamide (a form of vitamin B3) can help prevent skin cancer in kidney transplant recipients who have had skin cancer before. The study will enroll 30 adults and measure changes in blood vitamin levels to see if the approach is safe and feasible. It aims to gather initial data for larger future prevention trials.
