Can a cup of broth fight vitamin deficiency? scientists test new approach
NCT ID NCT06438562
Summary
This study aimed to measure how well the body absorbs vitamin A when it's added to bouillon (broth) cubes. Researchers compared absorption from three different fortified broth formulas to a standard oil-based vitamin A supplement. The goal is to find better ways to deliver this essential nutrient to help address vitamin A deficiency, a major health problem in many low-income countries.
