Summary

This study tested whether special computer exercises could help improve vision problems common in people with schizophrenia. Researchers worked with 79 adults who have schizophrenia or schizoaffective disorder, having them complete visual training tasks targeting contrast sensitivity and pattern recognition. The goal was to see if improving these basic visual skills could lead to better thinking abilities and everyday functioning.
