NCT ID NCT06836440

First seen Jan 05, 2026 · Last updated May 21, 2026 · Updated 29 times

Summary

This study looks at whether giving free glasses to older adults (ages 60-79) with poor eyesight can help slow down memory and thinking problems. About 964 people in rural areas will take part. Half will get glasses to fix their vision, and the other half will not. Researchers will check their thinking skills over 3 years to see if the glasses make a difference.
