Virtual walking game offers new hope for nerve pain in spinal cord injury

Summary
This study tests whether playing a virtual reality walking game can reduce nerve pain in adults with chronic spinal cord injury. Researchers will enroll 250 people who have had a spinal cord injury for at least a year and experience daily pain of at least 4 out of 10. Participants will use an immersive VR headset to simulate walking, and the team will measure changes in pain intensity and quality.
