Summary

This study looks at whether a computer-based virtual agent or a real person is better at teaching lung cancer patients how to use devices at home to check their weight, blood pressure, heart rate, temperature, and oxygen levels. About 36 adults with solid tumors will be randomly assigned to get instructions from either the virtual or human helper over the phone. The goal is to see which method is easier for patients to use and how they feel about the experience.
