Doctors test VR goggles to pinpoint lung spots before surgery
NCT ID NCT07434167
Summary
This study is testing whether a virtual reality (VR) system can help doctors more accurately and safely locate small lung nodules before surgery. The system creates a 3D digital map of the patient's lung to guide needle placement during a CT scan. Researchers will enroll 30 patients to see if this approach improves precision and reduces procedure time and complications.
