Summary
This study tested whether using a virtual reality headset with a calming app (AQUA) could lower stress in 82 people scheduled for thyroid surgery. Participants used the headset for 30 minutes before and after surgery. The goal was to see if anxiety levels improved or stayed stable, measured by standard anxiety scales.
