Summary

This trial tests whether a brief virtual reality (VR) session before gynecological surgery can lower anxiety and improve recovery. About 140 adults will be randomly assigned to either a 10-20 minute VR relaxation experience plus standard care, or standard care alone. Researchers will measure changes in anxiety, pain, opioid use, and overall recovery quality.
