Summary

This study tested whether using virtual reality (VR) in the waiting room could help lower anxiety in 156 adults about to have a heart catheterization. Patients wore a heart rate monitor and reported their anxiety levels. The goal was to see if VR could make the pre-procedure experience less stressful.
