VR games fight Kids' dental fear

NCT ID NCT05585905

Summary

This study tested whether using virtual reality (VR) games could help children feel less anxious and behave better during dental sealant placement. Kids aged 6-18 tried both a VR headset and standard calming techniques during their appointments so researchers could compare the effects. The goal was to see if an immersive game could make dental visits easier by reducing fear, pain, and disruptive behavior.
