VR goggles bring comfort to ICU patients in new french study

Summary
This study tests whether using a virtual reality program can help reduce discomfort for patients recovering from major surgery in the intensive care unit (ICU). About 194 adults will be randomly assigned to either receive standard care or standard care plus two short VR sessions each day. The goal is to see if VR can ease common ICU discomforts like pain, anxiety, and poor sleep.
