Summary

This study looked at whether watching a virtual reality (VR) video about their upcoming heart procedure could help patients feel less anxious. 75 adults scheduled for a MitraClip or TriClip repair were split into two groups: one got standard information, the other got that plus a VR tour of the hospital and procedure. Researchers measured anxiety levels right after the education and one week before the procedure to see if VR made a difference.
