NCT ID NCT07598851

First seen May 28, 2026 · Last updated Jun 09, 2026 · Updated 1 time

Summary

This study looked at whether a virtual reality (VR) education program could help first-time radiation therapy patients understand their treatment better and reduce anxiety and depression. 84 cancer patients were split into two groups: one received VR education, the other standard nurse-led education. Researchers measured their knowledge, anxiety, and depression before and after the education to see if VR made a difference.
