First seen Oct 31, 2025 · Last updated Jun 14, 2026 · Updated 33 times
Summary
This study tested whether a virtual counselor program, combined with support from a community health worker, could help people in public housing quit smoking and get screened for lung cancer. Five adults aged 50 or older who smoked took part. Researchers measured how acceptable and feasible the program was, and collected feedback to improve it for a future larger trial.
