NCT ID NCT06807086
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study tests a virtual, 4-session sleep program based on cognitive behavioral therapy for insomnia (CBT-I) in 198 cancer survivors. Participants are randomly assigned to the program or usual care. The goal is to see if the program reduces insomnia severity, improves sleep quality, and eases anxiety and fatigue. The trial includes survivors at different stages of cancer survivorship to make the results more widely applicable.

What this could lead to
If it works, this could provide an effective, accessible way to improve sleep and quality of life for many cancer survivors.
What could go wrong
This is a relatively small, early-stage trial (198 participants) and focuses on symptom relief, not a cure. Results may not apply to all cancer survivors.
