This study tested whether a computer model, called a 'virtual brain,' can help doctors interpret brain signals in people with epilepsy. Twenty patients with planned brain electrode monitoring took part. The goal was to see if simulations could improve the identification of seizure-causing brain regions, potentially guiding future surgical treatments.
