Massive 4,000-Patient study aims to map the hidden patterns of viral brain attacks

NCT ID NCT07358117

Summary

This study aims to better understand viral infections of the brain and spinal cord (like meningitis) by looking back at the medical records of 4,000 patients. Researchers want to see if different viruses cause different symptoms and outcomes in children versus adults, and in people with strong versus weak immune systems. The goal is to gather knowledge that could help doctors diagnose and predict the course of these serious infections more accurately in the future.
