Summary
This study is testing whether giving patients unlimited access to a secure website with an explanatory video about thyroid surgery can lower their anxiety before the operation. About 220 adults scheduled for thyroid surgery will take part. Researchers will measure anxiety using standard questionnaires and compare results to usual care.
