Movie magic calms Kids' medical fears
NCT ID NCT06608550
Summary
This study tested whether showing children a short video about what to expect could make them less scared and anxious before getting an endoscopy. Researchers worked with 90 children, aged 9 to 12, who were having the procedure for the first time. They compared kids who watched the video to those who did not, measuring fear, anxiety, and how satisfied the children were with their experience.
