Can video calls help parents give therapy to their premature babies?

NCT ID NCT06965842

Summary

This small study is testing whether a video system is a practical way for therapists to guide parents in providing developmental exercises for their premature babies at home. It involves 12 infants born very early or at very low birth weight who have signs of brain injury. Parents will record therapy sessions on their phones and share them with a therapist for feedback twice a week until the baby is 6 months old (adjusted age), to see if this remote support method works and is safe.
