Can video chats fight loneliness in seniors?
NCT ID NCT05380180
Summary
This study tested whether an 8-week program of social video calls could improve quality of life for older adults, including those with mild memory concerns. About 100 participants aged 65+ were randomly assigned to either start the video social groups immediately or wait 8 weeks. Researchers measured changes in loneliness, social isolation, and overall well-being.
