Video games prescribed for teen spine recovery
NCT ID NCT06498232
Summary
This study is testing whether a structured exercise program using active video games is better than standard stabilization exercises at improving balance and posture control in teenagers recovering from spinal fusion surgery for scoliosis. Fifty-one teens will be randomly assigned to either the video game exercise group, the standard exercise group, or a control group that waits for treatment. The main goal is to see which method helps patients regain stability and balance more effectively over a 12-week program.
