Can video games help fight frailty in the elderly?
NCT ID NCT05920577
Summary
This small, completed pilot study tested whether combining video game-based exercise (exergaming) with traditional strength training could help improve frailty in nursing home residents. It involved 30 participants who were already showing signs of frailty. The goal was to see if this fun, combined approach could improve muscle strength, mobility, and cognitive function better than usual care.
