First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study will test whether a video game that guides children through breathing exercises can reduce pain, fear, and anxiety during a routine blood draw. About 60 children aged 7 to 12 will be randomly assigned to either play the breathing game during the procedure or receive standard care. Researchers will measure their pain, fear, and anxiety levels before, during, and right after the blood draw.
