First seen Feb 15, 2026 · Last updated May 25, 2026 · Updated 12 times
Summary
This study tested whether watching educational videos helps liver transplant patients adapt to their disease and take their immunosuppressive drugs correctly. 90 adult patients were split into three groups: one watched theory-based videos, one watched standard videos, and one received usual care. The goal was to see if video education improves medication adherence and reduces post-transplant discomfort.
