Summary
This study tested whether showing patients a short educational video could help prevent serious bloodstream infections. About 1,000 hospitalized patients who needed to use special antiseptic bathing cloths participated. Researchers compared units where patients watched the video to units using standard written instructions to see if the video improved proper bathing and reduced infections.
