Virtual reality videos aim to calm nerves before Open-Heart surgery
NCT ID NCT07222839
Summary
This study is testing whether showing patients an immersive video about their upcoming heart surgery can reduce their anxiety before the procedure. Researchers will measure anxiety levels and physical signs like heart rate before and after patients watch the video. They will also track recovery outcomes like time spent in intensive care to see if lower anxiety leads to better healing.
