Deepfake videos aim to boost medication adherence in heart patients
NCT ID NCT07210073
Summary
This study tested whether personalized educational videos, created using deepfake technology, could help patients with heart disease and high blood pressure better follow their treatment plans. About 218 participants were randomly assigned to either receive the video education along with their usual care, or just their usual care alone. The main goal was to see if the videos improved how consistently patients monitored their blood pressure at home and took their prescribed medications over one month.
