Can a simple video transform how patients prepare for major cancer surgery?

NCT ID NCT07494994

Summary

This study aims to improve how patients learn about a major pancreas cancer surgery called a Whipple procedure. Researchers will test if adding an educational video to the standard consent process helps patients understand the surgery better and feel more satisfied. The goal is to create a more consistent and clear experience for all patients, regardless of their health literacy or language skills.
